This Marmalade, Bacon & Cheese Brekkie Toast was a favourite of Jacques Spillebeen, my step-father – le petit caporal. I can clearly remember him eating this most mornings with a strong hit of espresso. It’s sweet, salty, cheesy flavours are perfectly offset by a strong percolated coffee. It’s not for everyone, but promise me you’ll try it at least once.
